Naturopathic Medicine ROOTED in science and wisdom
Meet the Team
Dr. Gaby Carter, ND is a licensed naturopathic physician in both Washington and Oregon who consistently provides the highest quality, most compassionate and individualized patient-specific care for all. She enthusiastically works to identify the true root of “dis-ease” and collaboratively treats each patient. With the expansive experiences of working in conventional medicine in her first career, veterinary surgery, Dr. Gaby focused on learning mental, emotional and spiritual healing modalities while attending NUNM in Portland, OR. Dr. Gaby credits working with non-verbal patients for decades as the advantage to her unique approach to patient care. Combining conventional and naturopathic modalities to achieve foundational shifts in the whole person, she helps patients make lasting changes on their own terms.
Dr. Gaby earned a bachelor’s of specialized studies in Native American Community Development from Ohio University and her veterinary technician’s license from the State of Wisconsin. Her combined education and real life experience gives her the advantage of seeing patients at all stages of life. Professionally, Dr. Gaby has advanced training in regenerative injection therapy techniques, endocrine disease management and inter-personal trauma treatments. Allison, or “Allie” as she’s better known around the office, is our office manager. She recently relocated to Gig Harbor last year from the Central Coast of California and has enjoyed exploring all the new sights and beauty the PNW has to offer. Allie has worked in medical front office for 18 years. From her early beginnings in pediatrics, Allie has expanded her field of knowledge managing offices specializing in internal medicine, primary care, chiropractic care, and finally into naturopathic medicine. She loves offering a warm and welcoming environment for patient care, communication, and healing.
In her free time, she and her husband enjoy traveling, finding new restaurants and coffee shops, music, hiking, and spending time with their family.
Kirsty is the founder and owner of True Roots Natural Medicine (TRNM) and Gig Harbor Acupuncture & Holistic Health. Her love and appreciation of the natural world, its teachings and medicine continue to deepen. Kirsty’s foundational knowledge began with growing up on a farm and exploring the Pacific Northwest through a variety of outdoor activities across all seasons. Coming from Western Medicine and then training as an Eastern Medicine Practitioner and acupuncturist she sought to create a loving and peaceful environment that is a catalyst for healing the moment one crosses its threshold. Her goal is to inspire people to be the best versions of themselves every single day and to provide the support, resources and community for sustained growth and change. You’ll be able to meet Kirsty at TRNM, teaching classes and inviting people to be in community again.
